Mist rising over a still river at dawn

Stillness is not the absence of life — it is life, listened to closely.

What lives inside

Everything in AntarChit is built to be calm by default — nothing urgent, nothing that asks more of you than a moment of attention.

The sacred texts

Rooted in a living tradition

AntarChit draws on the great roots of Sanatana Dharma — the deep wellspring of texts that have shaped the tradition for millennia. They flow from the revealed Shruti, the Vedas and Upanishads, into the remembered Smriti of the epics, Puranas, and sutras. Each is a distinct doorway: revelation, philosophy, devotion, story, and practice.

Seven roots of the tradition
  1. 01

    The Vedas

    Veda

Ancient hymns on cosmic order, ritual, and the search for truth.

  2. 02

    The Upanishads

    Upaniṣad

Contemplative teachings on the self (atman) and ultimate reality (brahman).

  3. 03

    The Bhagavad Gita

    Bhagavad Gītā

A timeless dialogue on duty, devotion, and acting without attachment.

  4. 04

    The Ramayana

    Rāmāyaṇa

Valmiki's epic of Rama, honoring virtue, loyalty, and devotion to duty.

  5. 05

    The Mahabharata

    Mahābhārata

A vast epic exploring dharma, choice, and the human cost of conflict.

  6. 06

    The Puranas

    Purāṇa

Narrative collections of myth, cosmology, and devotion across generations.

  7. 07

    The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

    Yoga Sūtra

A concise guide to stilling the mind through eight steps toward absorption.

A few of the tradition's great roots, gathered as doorways — not a complete or fixed canon.
